A method for determining the geometric parameters of a glass ribbon in a bath with a tin melt has been developed, and the influence of forming conditions on these parameters has been investigated. Data have been obtained and systematized, giving a more specific idea of ??the processes occurring in various molding areas. It was found that the equilibrium thickness of the glass ribbon is formed under the influence of bead-holding machines, and not due to free spreading at the initial stage of molding, as was previously thought.
