The drawbacks of the production of soda silicate lumps in bath glass furnaces are noted, the expediency of melting of soluble glass in an annular cyclone chamber using sulfate industrial waste is shown. A method is given for calculating the dimensions of the flow path of a cyclone chamber of a given productivity. The results of the calculation of the cyclone chamber and the entire installation with a capacity of 40 tons / day are presented, including the environmental and technical and economic characteristics of obtaining a silicate lump and liquid glass from it.
