It is shown that the density of two-component glasses with a change in their composition of the molar content of the modifier obeys a parabolic dependence, the values ??of the parameters of which can be used to judge the magnitude and nature of the interaction between the components. In glasses showing a tendency to liquation, the interaction indicators are more than an order of magnitude lower and negative. Tab. 2, ill. 2, bibliography: 6 titles.
