The effect of changing in the process parameters on the stability of glass fiber drawing

A one-dimensional model is considered, which includes the equations of continuity, balance of forces and a physical model that describes the state of the glass melt in the fiber formation zone. Perturbations associated with changes in technological parameters are introduced into the solutions of the equations defining a stable process, and possible deviations of the fiber radius are determined.
