Using silicate optical flints as an example, the effect of the basicity of the composition on the bubbling of glass has been studied. It was found that an increase in bubbling is symbatic with an increase in the content of ferrous iron and an increase in the basicity of the glass. It has been shown that an increase in the concentration of clarifiers does not lead to a decrease in bubbling. Tab. 5, bibliography: 6 titles.
