Heading: Science for glass production

The article presents the results of studies of the thermal stability of heat-absorbing float glass with a thickness of 4.0 - 12.0 mm. It is shown that heat-absorbing glass has high thermal stability (more than 100 ° C). Based on the nature of the distribution of heat resistance along the width of the strip, it was concluded that the heat resistance of float glass depends on such technological processes as molding and annealing.
