The spectra of induced absorption and their relaxation are analyzed, including the behavior of the spectral hole in the region of the exciton band. A model of photochromism as a process of formation of paired defects in a CuCl microcrystal and radiation color centers of the glass matrix on both sides of the microcrystal - glass interface is proposed.
