The experience of producing flat rolled and polished glass for construction and technical purposes using energy-saving technologies is generalized.
The main directions of development of the Pilot Glass Factory are considered. The features of the plant's work in new economic conditions are reflected.
Methods of applying decorative coatings to glassware are considered. The examples of decorating bottles show the possibilities of working with customers.
The possibility of obtaining nephritized dull glaze of high-temperature firing (1280 ° C) for sanitary ceramic products is considered. The glaze contains finely dispersed zircon and has a high whiteness.
The Steklomash plant specializes in the production of large technological equipment for the glass industry of high quality. Il. 4.
A technological flow-mechanized line for the manufacture of long-length hollow articles of tubular electroceramics is considered. The line consists of an automated system for forming and drying tubes, a glazing unit, a firing module and a cutting machine. The introduction of the line makes it possible to automate the laborious operations of forming, drying, glazing and firing. Tab. 2, ill. 2, bibliography: 2 titles.
The issues of teaching and using robots for cutting a diamond facet on crystal products, as well as for automatic program correction in connection with deviations in the size of products are considered. The technical and economic indicators of this process are given. Tab. 2, ill. 3.
The possibility of using a computer simulation method to create new types of ceramic products is considered. The main technological aspects of the work on the reconstruction of the faience iconostasis for the Holy Cross Cathedral (Verkhoturye) are described.
Coloration of glass obtained using the maximum amount of cullet has been studied. The possibility of producing large batches of glass for construction purposes from glass production waste has been confirmed, which leads to significant savings in scarce raw materials. Tab. 2, ill. 1, bibliography: 5 titles.
