Change in basic capacity of the glass melt upon utmost introduction of the cullet

The possibility of increasing the introduction of cullet into the batch (from 30 to 100%) in the production of rolled types of glass has been proven. A method is proposed for assessing the change in the redox potential of molten glass using data on the content of heterovalent iron and sulfur compounds in the glass composition.
