The results of synthesis and physicochemical studies of heat-resistant glass-crystalline coatings using high-alumina waste from the metallurgical industry, intended to protect nichrome alloys from high-temperature corrosion, are presented. The mechanism of sitallization of the glass matrix of the coating is revealed, the phase composition of both heat-resistant coatings and contact layers of nichrome-coating is established depending on the ratio of adhesion activators - NiO and CoO.
