A model of diamond drilling of holes in brittle solid nonmetallic materials is proposed, based on the description of the process of microcutting with a single grain and energy processes occurring during drilling. Modeling the work of a single grain was carried out taking into account the deformation of the bond. The simulation results are used in the form of specialized software for calculating cutting conditions and creating new progressive technologies for obtaining diamond tools operating under the most stressful conditions.
