Silicate films obtained by the sol-gel method, doped with 1, 10, and 20% platinum, have been studied by X-ray electron spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy. The changes in the structure of the silicate film as a result of doping with platinum, as well as the effect of the concentration of platinum, temperature and heat treatment atmosphere on the composition and morphology of the surface of the doped films have been determined.
