A granular heat-insulating glass-crystalline material and a technology for its production based on broken glass modified with fusible and inorganic additives have been developed. Research has been carried out on the influence of the main physical characteristics of the charge components on the pore formation process. Based on the research results, the main parameters have been established that affect the stability of the molten glass foaming process. An automatic control system for the technological process of firing granular glass-ceramic material has been developed.
