The principles of designing dosage lines for the production of glass mixtures are considered.

A new optical multichannel system for technological control of the thickness of float glass at the beginning of the annealing furnace, based on the interference principle of thickness measurement, is described. The system provides continuous control of float glass tape thickness simultaneously at several points (from 1 to 10) in real time with an error of 5 microns. Il. 6, bibliography: 3 titles.

The melting was carried out and the physicochemical properties of glasses of lithium-aluminosilicate composition and glass sitalls crystallized on their basis in a two-stage regime were investigated. The research results are presented. Tab. 1, ill. 2, bibliography: 2 titles.

The interaction of two elements of variable valence (As + Fe and As + Cr) has been studied in their joint presence in glasses of the four-component system K ₂ O- B ₂ O _{3 - SiO 2 -Al 2 O 3. It is shown that with an increase in the basicity of the glass, the element located to the left in the redox series passes into the highest valence state. Recommendations are given for adjusting the concentrations of alternating valence elements in order to optimize the color (color) of colored and colorless glasses. The results of studies of mullite formation from compositions of hydromica clay - Al (OH) 3 are presented. It is shown that the formation of mullite (or solid solutions of mullite with corundum) is most intensively carried out at temperatures of 1150 - 1200 ° C from compositions in which the content of hydromica clay is 50 -60%. The reasons for the appearance of certain types of defects during static pressing of ceramic products on automatic press are considered. Recommendations are given for their elimination in order to improve the quality of products in serial production. Tab. 1, bibliography: 4 titles.

The possibility of using silicate coatings as protective for bismuth-containing powder materials in order to expand their operational properties is considered. A method for pretreating the surface of powder steel for enameling by borating is proposed, which makes it possible to obtain high adhesion strength in the composition of the powder material - silicate coating. Modeling of high-temperature processes occurring in oxide-silicate systems under the influence of plasma has been carried out. The studies were carried out using plasmatrons used in the practice of analytical chemistry in the implementation of atomic emission analysis. The choice of these sources is due to a simpler methodology for studying the interaction of plasma with the surface of a solid material. To clarify the identified high-temperature mechanisms, thermodynamic modeling was carried out using the "Astra" software package. Tab. 2, ill. 5, bibliography: 4 titles.
