The expediency of building a CAD system for a glass-melting furnace is shown. The general provisions of the mathematical support of the CAD technological subsystem are formulated. The principles of constructing a mathematical model of the thermal operation of the furnace are stated. Basic equations are presented that provide a joint solution of the external and internal problems of heat and mass transfer, taking into account the specifics of the physicochemical aspects of the glass-making process. The sitall-forming ability of glasses based on granitoids of the Republic of Belarus, a new type of petrurgical raw material for the silicate industry, has been investigated. The ideas about the mechanism of crystallization of glasses obtained from mineral melts are formulated. It has been established that the crystallization of the peroxene phase occurs according to the spherulite type on the stable chromium pikotite phase, which is formed upon cooling the glass and persists until the end of the sitall formation process. Rapid methods have been developed for the determination of crystal color carriers - copper and zinc oxides. The techniques have been tested on samples of colored crystal glass. The correctness of the determination was confirmed by the atomic absorption method. Tab. 2, bibliography: 15 titles.

The results of the study of the structure of porous multilayer ceramic filter elements are presented and the possibility of their use for clarification and sterilizing filtration of an antidiarrheal energy preparation is evaluated. Tab. 1, ill. 5, bibliography: 3 titles.

The parameters of more than 40 different types of grinding bodies produced or developed by domestic and foreign manufacturers have been analyzed. It has been established that the wear resistance of ceramics is determined by two groups of factors: external (characteristics of the technological process, design features of grinding units, shape and size of grinding bodies) and internal (characteristics of the structure, composition and properties of materials). The ceramic structure has a primary effect on the wear resistance of similar materials. The wear resistance is increased both by increasing the content of corundum in the mass and by adjusting the microstructure of the ceramic by introducing modifying additives. Data on the thermophysical properties of NZP ceramics with the structure of the NaZr ₂ (PO ₄) ₃ type are generalized. A system of regularities of thermal expansion is proposed, which makes it possible to purposefully predict NZP materials with controlled, including ultra-low, thermal expansion at close to zero anisotropy. The thermodynamic functions of reactions for the synthesis of NZP-phosphates are calculated and the applicability of ceramic technology for their production is substantiated. It is proposed to use NZP-ceramics as heat-insulating materials capable of operating under conditions of sharp temperature changes. Tab. 4, ill. 4, bibliography: 25 titles.
