Using model systems, the behavior of powdery components of a glass batch under periodic mechanical impacts on containers for its storage has been studied. Segregation in a two-component system of quartz sand - soda increases the content of soda particles in the upper layers of the charge, and sand particles in the lower ones. This separation is reduced when the powder mixture is moistened. Studying the segregation of various fractions of powdered dolomite, it was found that humidification also weakens the segregation of various fractions of powdered dolomite.

The behavior of a mixture of oxide powders was investigated in the process of pressing blanks. The entire pressing process can be conditionally divided into three main stages, differing from each other in the stability of the ensemble of structural elements of the seal, the possibility of their configurational restructuring or destruction when critical values ??of external forces are reached. A method is proposed for determining the value of the optimal pressure, which can be attributed to express methods, since the value of this pressure is determined on raw blanks.

It is shown that melting a mixture of TiO ₂ + BaCO ₃ and TiO ₂ + SrCO ₃ on the focal plane of the radiation heating installation with a density of 100 W / cm ² leads to the synthesis of barium titanates BaTiO ₃ and strontium SrTiO ₃. Specimens prepared on the basis of a crushed melt, after sintering at a temperature of 1350 ° C, exhibit higher values ??of mechanical strength and dielectric constant in comparison with specimens of barium titanate obtained by ceramic technology.

The results of studies on the synthesis of ceramic pigments based on titanomagnetite using zinc, magnesium, cobalt and manganese oxides as modifying additives are presented. The phase compositions of the obtained pigments were determined by the method of X-ray phase analysis depending on the composition and synthesis temperature. The optimal compositions of pigments and synthesis conditions have been determined.

A technique for modeling the elastic electronic polarization of cubic zirconia is considered. The results of simulation of long-wave optical spectra of crystals of zirconium dioxide and yttrium oxide included in the component composition of the considered artificial mineral are presented.

Studies of the biostability of glass-foam materials have been carried out. The material is fungus resistant against Aspergillus niger molds. Molds have a negative effect on the sorption moisture content of the material, the value of which increases after biological exposure, but is within acceptable limits (no more than 2.5%). The influence of molds on structural changes in the surface layer of the material is confirmed by IR spectroscopy data. The leading role in microdamage of the interpore septum is played by the particle size of the crystalline phase, rather than its amount.

A high-strength, extra-heavy, reaction-powder concrete of a new generation for protection from radiation has been proposed. The production of such superconcrete was achieved through the complex use of waste silicate-lead glasses of TF-10 grade as fine and coarse aggregates introduced into the composition of the concrete mixture in dry form.

A technology has been developed for the disposal of ash and slag wastes of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the production of mineral fibers using an electroplasma installation for melting silicate-containing materials and processing the resulting melt into mineral fibers. Research has been carried out on an electroplasma installation, raw materials and mineral fibers obtained on their basis.
