The mutual influence of the enamel components on the degree of its whiteness is considered. The influence of P 2 O 5 on the process of damping white single-layer enamels has been studied. It was found that the main role in the crystallization mechanism belongs to Li 2 TiO 3 . Tab. 1, ill. 3, bibliography: 4 titles.
Taking into account the experimental determination, the possibility of calculating the LTEC, viscosity and surface tension of the melt of the frit of the ground enamel by various methods is considered with a change in the content of Fe 2 O 3 . Knowing the percentage of the three original frits in the ground enamel and their experimentally found properties, the properties of the ground enamel were determined by additive methods. Tab. 3, ill. 2, bibliography: 2 titles.
Natural diatomite rocks have been investigated. Studied their structure, mineralogical features, chemical composition, phase transformations during heat treatment. It is shown that diatomite rocks are a promising raw material for enameling production. Tab. 1.
The causes of defects in enameling watch bracelets made of L-90 brass have been investigated by the methods of chemical and microstructural analysis. It is shown that the marriage is due to the increased content of bismuth and lead in the alloy. A method for eliminating marriage is proposed. Tab. 1, ill. 1, bibliography: 6 titles.
Comparative tests of industrial and synthesized fluorine-free primerless enamels have been carried out. It has been established that fluorine-free enamels of new compositions are superior to existing analogues in a number of properties (firing range, chemical resistance, impact strength, etc.). The enamels are environmentally friendly, have passed extensive industrial tests and are accepted for production at enterprises that produce steel pipes, enameled on the inner surface. Tab. 2, bibliography: 3 titles.
An effective method for preparing the surface of steel for single-layer enamelling by boriding in solid solutions has been developed, which makes it possible to shorten and make more economical and clean the process of metal pretreatment without the use of special equipment. Tab. 2, ill. 3, bibliography: 9 titles.
On the basis of crystallizing alkaline borotitanosilicate glasses with additions of oxides of the R 2 O 5 type, ground and coating chemically resistant enamels for steel have been developed, characterized by high electrical conductivity. Il. 1, bibliography: 5 titles.
Aventurine effect was found in chromium and alkali-containing aluminoborosilicate glass and enamel based on it. The influence of the acidity of glass, as well as the ratio of alkaline oxides on obtaining the aventurine effect and the size of crystals in glass and enamel, has been investigated. Il. 3, bibliography: 7 titles.
The force effect on the slip layer during the formation of an enamel coating on a product performing a complex movement is investigated. The forces acting on the elementary volume of the enamel slip have been calculated. The main types of forces that contribute to the discharge of excess slip and the formation of a uniform coating have been identified. The conditions for obtaining a high-quality enamel layer are considered. Il. 1, bibliography: 9 titles.
The composition of the ground enamel for steel has been developed, containing blast furnace slag of JSC "Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant" as the main raw material. The main properties of the obtained enamel are determined, the optimal mode of synthesis of a high-quality soil coating for steel is given. Tab. 3, bibliography: 5 titles.
