The mechanism of the formation of a single-layer white glass-enamel coating on the surface of steel during low-temperature firing is considered. The main regularities of obtaining a strong adhesion have been determined. The effectiveness of the influence of various methods of pretreatment of steel before single-layer low-temperature enameling on the structure and composition of the transition contact adhesion layer, which predetermines the strength of the adhesion of the steel-enamel composition, is shown.
