The problems of transportation of glass batch over long distances are considered. A project for the reconstruction of flow lines for raw materials and glass batch in the production of float glass is presented. Shown are various options for technological schemes of the mixing department of the charge, located outside the compound shop. An algorithm for the use of a conditionally defective charge using a backup mixer is proposed.
The features of accounting for the consumption of own cullet in the production of glass containers are considered. A possible version of the system for separate and general measurement of the mass of its own cullet formed on the "hot" and "cold" sections of the technological lines is presented.
A method of cooling the baddeleyite-corundum masonry of a cooking basin using a perforated surface for air outflow is considered. The results of calculating jet heat transfer and heat transfer to the environment are presented. Recommendations are given on the choice of parameters for the ventilation system of the masonry, characterized by a 4-fold reduction in air consumption compared to the traditional method of cooling.
Based on the results of mathematical modeling, the average and maximum heating temperatures of the side walls of the working space of a glass-melting furnace with a specific glass removal rate of 2.9 t / (m 2 ? Day) were determined. The influence of thermal resistance of masonry on heat loss to the environment is considered. An energy-efficient structure of thermal insulation of baddeleyite-corundum masonry has been developed, which ensures a decrease in specific heat losses to 400 W / m 2 .
The issues of design and manufacture of equipment for departments and sections for the processing of silica-containing raw materials are considered. A project of an enterprise for the enrichment of quartz sand from the Pisarevskoye deposit in the Nizhny Novgorod region is presented.
An original concept for the development of a three-turn scheme for regenerating the heat of flue gases in glass-making furnaces is proposed. Theoretical propositions are formulated that substantiate the correctness of specifying the basic initial data for calculating a three-turn regenerator. An example of the development of a three-turn regenerator of a glass-melting furnace with a horseshoe-shaped flame is given.
Some designs of hopper dispensing devices providing a two-speed mode for dosing bulk materials when using feeders with an unregulated single-speed drive are considered.
An engineering method is proposed for calculating the temperature of the masonry of the regenerator of a glass-making furnace. Recommendations on the structure of the packing of a single-turn regenerator of a U-shaped flame furnace are given.
The perspective application of magnetic filter-separators with a filtering matrix for cleaning ceramic suspensions is considered. The previously absent characteristics of the relative strength and induction of the magnetic field in the pores of the polyspherical matrix of the magnetic separator of the filtration type, used to remove ferro-impurities from ceramic suspensions, have been obtained.
The results of mathematical modeling of the thermal operation of a glass-melting furnace with a horseshoe-shaped flame with a capacity of 280 tons / day are presented. The possibility of achieving a specific removal of molten glass of 2.5 t / (m 2 & # 46; days) and a specific heat consumption of 4563.8 kJ / kg with gas heating of the furnace without the use of additional electric heating of the melting basin is shown.
