Heading: Glass-melting furnaces

A mathematical model of regenerative heat exchangers with a fixed refractory packing used for heating the incoming air for combustion in high-temperature glass melting units is considered. The computer complex developed on the basis of the model allows simulating the operation of regenerators of glass-melting baths when using modern types of nozzles with various configurations of a packed chamber for glass-melting furnaces with a horseshoe-shaped and transverse flame direction, taking into account the peculiarities of their operation.
