The features of dosing of glass melt decolorizers and preparation of premixes with various fillers (sand, soda, feldspar) on their basis are considered. An algorithm for dosing Se and CoO is proposed, which makes it possible to exclude the adhesion of these materials to the bottom of the rotary bowl of a strain gauge weighing batcher. All the disadvantages of a conventional, traditionally prepared batch containing cullet are the reason for the constant improvement of the technologies for its preparation. The analysis of literature and patent data in the field of glass compositions for optical fiberglass, technology of its production and basic requirements for these glasses is carried out. The structures of titanium-containing aluminosilicate decorative glasses have been investigated by means of electron microscopy of various resolutions, electron microanalysis and X-ray diffraction. It was found that the reason for the formation of a patterned color is a stable and metastable liquation of melts and glasses, which leads to the formation of macrolayers and microphases of various compositions. The influence of the chemical composition of glasses on the processes of liquation in the studied system is shown. Tab. 1, ill. 2, bibliography: 4 titles.

The features of the use of finely dispersed quartz sands are considered on the example of the sands of the Tugan deposit (Tomsk region) in the production of foam glass-crystalline materials by low-temperature synthesis of glass granulate replacing cullet. It has been established that it is possible in principle to obtain foam glass-crystalline materials that are not inferior in terms of basic technological properties to traditional foam glass obtained on the basis of cullet. The influence of the method of enrichment of quartz raw materials on the purity of colored glasses has been studied. It is shown that the enrichment of quartz sand from the Kozlovskoye deposit by flotation and chemical methods made it possible to reduce the total content of Fe _x O _y by 3 times and obtain glasses with spectral light transmission in the visible region up to 84%. In this case, the color tone of the experimental glasses obtained on the basis of the initial and enriched sand, according to the calculations of the chromaticity coordinates and the corresponding constructions in the color triangle, was within the yellow region. It is shown that the development of an energy-efficient design of a glass container furnace involves the use of modern design methodology. The structure of the traditional stages of work on a furnace design must include its mathematical modeling, which precedes the stage of the technical design. The boundary conditions for modeling should reflect the conjugate nature of the external and internal heat transfer, as well as the hydrodynamics of the brewing basin. A mathematical model of regenerative heat exchangers with a fixed refractory packing used for heating the incoming air for combustion in high-temperature glass melting units is considered. The computer complex developed on the basis of the model allows simulating the operation of regenerators of glass-melting baths when using modern types of nozzles with various configurations of a packed chamber for glass-melting furnaces with a horseshoe-shaped and transverse flame direction, taking into account the peculiarities of their operation.
