The effect of diopside raw materials with a high diopside content on the properties of building ceramics from masses containing diopside concentrate (85, 90 and 95%) with a dispersion of up to 150 ?m and sodium silicate glass has been investigated. The possibility of using natural diopside as the main component of natural diopside obtained during the primary processing of the concentrate without wet grinding of the charge is shown. Tab. 4, ill. 5, bibliography: 5 titles.
The solid-phase synthesis of gadolinium titanate, stannate and zirconate has been studied. It was shown that these compounds can be obtained at 700 ° C. Obtained ceramics based on Gd 2 Zr 2 O 7 , Gd 2 Ti 2 O 7 , Gd 2 Sn 2 O 7 . It was found that the partial substitution of Zr, Ti, and Sn (IV) with each other makes it possible to reduce the sintering temperature. Tab. 1, ill. 4, bibliography: 5 titles.
The possibility of obtaining titanium carbosilicides by the method of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis from materials based on the FeSi - Ti - C system is shown. The microstructure and phase composition of the synthesized materials Ti 3 SiC 2 and Ti 5 Si 3 C x (x & lt; 1). Il. 4, bibliography: 5 titles.
Using the ceramics of the BeO - TiO 2 - C system as an example, methodological aspects of the use of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy for studying the chemical composition, charge state, and electronic parameters of the surface of complex oxide ceramics containing regions with different electronic conductivity are discussed. The issues of surface preparation of ceramics using ionic Ar + bombardment and mechanical cleaning with a diamond scraper in vacuum are considered. Il. 6, bibliography: 8 titles.
The study of the surface quality of three types of corundum materials for microcircuit substrates has been carried out. It is shown that the surface quality after grinding and polishing depends on the size of the crystals in the ceramics, which is largely determined by the dispersion of the initial powder, additives, and the sintering regime. Il. 12, bibliography: 7 titles.
The results of the study of the process of high-temperature nitriding of a mixture of ferrosilicon - ilmenite using a complex method of differential scanning calorimetry are presented. A ceramic composition of the composition Si 3 N 4 - TiN - Si 2 N 2 O - Fe was obtained by the method of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis with the use of ferrosilicon and ilmenite pulverized waste as raw materials. Il. 3, bibliography: 12 titles.
The spectral characteristics of radiation diffusely reflected by the surface of ceramic tiles under continuous and pulsed illumination are compared. The results of exposure of experimental samples to ultraviolet radiation have been studied. It is shown that the phenomenon of triplet absorption, leading to phosphorescence in the visible range, is characteristic of ceramic glaze irradiated with a flash lamp. Exposure of the glaze to ultraviolet radiation causes the appearance of radiation color centers in the glassy network, which absorb visible light. All this determines the discrepancy between the results of the instrumental and visual assessment of the color of ceramic tiles. Il. 4, bibliography: 13 titles.
The introduction of nanomaterials and nanotechnology at ceramic enterprises has its own objective and subjective characteristics. It is advisable to start mastering nanotechnology with the use of nanopowder additives to existing ceramic masses, especially in the form of modifying additives. Another promising method is the production of nanoceramics from powders of unstable solid phases, in which the particle sizes are much larger than nanoscale ones, and the nanostructure is created during heat treatment during their decomposition. At the same time, all stages of ceramic technology change little. The most difficult thing seems to be the production of nanoceramics from nanopowders due to a significant change in the technology parameters. For nanocomposites, the use of negative and positive templates is promising. Il. 4
Structural and chemical analysis of the talc deposit in the Zeysky district (Lozhnikovsky occurrence) of the Amur region has been carried out. Experimental samples of steatite ceramics were obtained. The electrophysical and mechanical characteristics of the obtained material have been investigated. Tab. 4, ill. 4, bibliography: 8 titles.
The possibility of using silicon-containing mineral raw materials (quartz sand and sand flask), mined in the Belgorod region for the production of ceramic materials with a combination of high heat resistance and satisfactory mechanical strength in compression, is shown. Il. 3, bibliography: 5 titles.
