The effect of the nature of magnesium salts on the synthesis and sintering of cordierite powders obtained by the sol-gel method has been established. The phase composition of the powder and the behavior of the material during sintering depend on the calcination temperature of the xerogels. Tab. 2, ill. 3, bibliography: 8 titles.
The results of studies of the process of obtaining mullite from quartz-topaz and molding finished mullite products directly at the stage of mullitization of topaz concentrate are presented. The use of the proposed technology makes it possible to manufacture lightweight refractory products with a fibrous microstructure and to minimize the number of intermediate operations. Il. 5, bibliography: 8 titles.
The results of X-ray and IR spectroscopic studies of samples of non-stoichiometric alumomagnesian spinel Mg 1-x Al 2-y O 4-z (OH) z , formed after treatment with concentrated acids of magnesia-alumina spinel synthesized by the sol-gel method at temperatures of 800 and 1100 ° C. It was found that three phases of nonstoichiometric alumina-magnesian spinel Mg 1-x Al 2-y O 4-z (OH) z with tetragonal lattices and different types of superstructure. X-ray diffraction patterns of two phases correspond to body-centered gratings with parameters a = 5.712 (3) A, c = 8.092 (3) A and a = 5.714 (3) A, c = 18.833 (35) A. : a = 5.718 (3) A, c = 24.261 (27) A. Tab. 5, bibliography: 23 titles.
It is shown that the dependence of the dielectric strength of solid dielectrics on frequency is determined by the corresponding dependence of the dielectric constant, and it sharply decreases in the region of dispersion frequencies during elastic vibrations and on relaxators (under the condition & # 969; o = 1 / & # 964;) with relaxation oscillations. Il. 1, bibliography: 2 titles.
The main trends in the production of ceramic pigments based on silicates of various crystal structures are considered. The features of the synthesis of pigments and the formation of color-bearing phases are shown. The use of natural silicate and aluminosilicate materials will expand the raw material base, reduce the synthesis temperature and obtain a wide range of pigments for decorating porcelain-faience and majolica products. Bibliography: 24 titles.
A variant of using oxides of rare earth metals for decorating porcelain is considered. The effect of these oxides, when introduced into the mass, on the formation of phases, as well as on the nature of the coloration of the structure, is shown. Tab. 2, bibliography: 6 titles.
The structure of porcelain and glazes based on the Gusevsky stone has been investigated. Revealed its positive and negative impact on the quality of porcelain products. Tab. 2, ill. 2, bibliography: 3 titles.
The effect of a combination of inorganic electrolytes and organic viscosity reducers on the rheological properties of ceramic slips for casting sanitary ceramic products is considered. It has been shown that the addition of sodium polyacrylate and a phosphorus-containing component makes it possible to reduce the viscosity, increase the speed of the semi-finished product and shorten the drying time of the samples. Il. 3, bibliography: 6 titles.
Methods for the fabrication of optically transparent ceramic materials based on Y 2 O 3 using carbonate and alkoxide precursors are considered. It was found that the ceramics synthesized on the basis of yttrium isopropylate, in comparison with the material obtained on the basis of yttrium carbonate under the same conditions of heat treatment and firing, has better optical properties. Tab. 1, bibliography: 7 titles.
The influence of the mineral composition of low-melting red-burning clays, gaseous medium and the nature of raw materials on the formation of a light (white) ceramic material as a result of crystallization of iron-containing crystalline phases has been established. Tab. 2, ill. 1.
