The corrosion resistance of refractories in frit melts used at ZAO Velor (Orel) has been investigated. Based on the results of the work carried out, it was proposed to replace the MKS refractory material, which is currently used for lining the fritted glaze melting furnace, with the CMC material, which is more resistant to frit melts. Tab. 3, ill. 1, bibliography: 4 titles.
A new ceramic pigment of black color was developed based on the CoO - Fe 2 O 3 system at low synthesis temperatures (1000 - 1200 ° C). The optimal temperature range for the spinel formation reaction in the indicated oxide system has been established. The resulting pigment, when introduced during grinding into a raw glaze for sanitary porcelain, provides glaze coatings characterized by an intense and stable black color in a fairly wide range of firing temperatures. Tab. 2, ill. 2, bibliography: 9 titles.
The results of studies on the production of ceramic materials with low thermal expansion coefficients based on a matrix of cordierite-eucryptite composition are presented. Compositions that are promising for the production of heat-resistant ceramics with a thermal expansion coefficient of 0.058 x 10 -6 to -1.793x; 10 -6 K -1 and recommended for use in conditions of sharp thermal loading. Tab. 3. ill. 1, bibliography: 9 titles.
The prospects of using various methods of synthesis for obtaining high-purity complex oxides of alkaline and divalent elements and rare elements of groups IV and V of precisely specified chemical and granulometric compositions are analyzed. It is shown that only the sol-gel method with the use of inorganic precursors was used to obtain nanosized powders of narrow granulometric classes. Epitaxial coatings based on complex oxides can be synthesized by the sol-gel method using organic precursors or true solutions of compounds of the reacting components. Il. 1, bibliography: 28 titles.
The effect of the initial components, gelling agent additives, heat treatment and disaggregation conditions on the completeness of forsterite synthesis and powder morphology was studied. The colloidal method using silica sol and magnesium acetate solution provides the most stable and homogeneous sol, and after heat treatment - a highly dispersed powder without additional grinding. The selected technological modes, contributing to the completion of the synthesis. Controlling the synthesis temperature made it possible to obtain a powder with a particle size of less than 0.1 to 0.2 - 0.5 ?m and an aggregate size of 0.5 to 2 - 5 ?m. Tab. 2, ill. 5, bibliography: 8 titles.
The influence of individual and complex thinning additives containing superplasticizer C-3 on the rheological parameters of ceramic slip and its individual components is considered. A comparative analysis is carried out with a production complex additive containing an imported deflocculant - rheotane. The influence of the developed complex additives on the technological properties of the slip for the production of sanitary-ceramic products has been studied. Tab. 1, ill. 1, bibliography: 3 titles.
The effect of an active substrate on the process of liquid-phase reduction of paranitrotoluene (P-NT) on a highly porous cellular palladium catalyst (HPNPK) has been studied. The rate of the reduction reaction was determined at a 50% conversion of the initial nitro compound in the temperature range 52 - 58 ° C on an HPNPC, for which various oxides and their sulfated forms were used as an active substrate. It was shown that the highest rate of P-NT hydrogenation was achieved when using HPNAP with an active substrate of sulfated ZrO 2 and g-Al 2 O 3 . The constants of the P-NT reduction process and the load of the nitro compound on the catalyst were calculated, which were also the highest for HPNAP with substrates of sulfated ZrO 2 . Tab. 2, ill. 2, bibliography: 5 titles.
The sintering of corundum by the liquid-recrystallization mechanism with the introduction of additives of borosilicate glasses of eutectic composition is investigated. The comparative efficiency of floating additives has been determined. The structure of the melts has been studied. A chemical factor affecting sintering has been identified, and ratios for a quantitative assessment of this effect have been proposed. Tab. 4, ill. 2, bibliography: 15 titles.
The possibility of obtaining glaze coatings for sanitary ceramics without the use of toxic components - barium carbonate and zinc oxide - is considered. Regularities of changes in the physicochemical properties of glazes (gloss, whiteness, microhardness, LTEC) are revealed depending on the chemical composition in relation to the features of their structure and phase composition. Il. 2, bibliography: 7 titles.
The analysis of literature and patent data on the production and use of lithium-containing heat-resistant ceramics is carried out, and information on the results of studies of the properties of products based on it is briefly presented. It is proposed to use the indicated ceramics as materials capable of operating under conditions of sharp temperature changes. Bibliography: 28 titles.
