The conditions for obtaining tetragonal and cubic leucite from tetragonal analcime have been established by the method of hydrothermal ion exchange in an alkaline medium. The technological parameters of the process are given. On the basis of cubic leucite, the composition of a ceramic composite material for heating elements of a vacuum synthesis unit for pure inorganic compounds has been developed. Tab. 2, ill. 4, bibliography: 9 titles.
The processes of joint hydroxide deposition of nickel (II) and zirconium (IV) with the production of nickel zirconate have been investigated. During the subsequent heat treatment of hydroxides at a lower temperature compared to powders, stabilized nickel zirconate with a stable crystal lattice is formed, in which Zr 4+ ions are replaced by Ni 2+ ions to obtain a colored connections. This serves as a prerequisite for the synthesis of stable pigments with a perovskite-like structure. Tab. 1, ill. 3, bibliography: 6 titles.
Refractory clays of the Rostov region and high-alumina technogenic waste were used in the technology of manufacturing refractories ША and ШБ. The influence of the ratio of chamotte and clay, granulometric composition and method of administration has been studied.
The results of dilatometric studies of the sintering process of ceramics based on perlite rock and window glass under isothermal conditions are presented. It is shown that the change in the geometric dimensions of the ceramic during sintering is in close functional relationship with the change in its bulk phase composition. It is advisable to use the parameters characterizing this change in kinetic studies, analysis and mathematical description of the ceramics densification process during sintering. Tab. 5.
Bleached ceramics were obtained on the basis of iron-containing clays, and the process of their sintering was intensified. Ceramics has high technical, operational and decorative characteristics, which is ensured by the introduction of up to 20% CaCO 3 into the ceramic mass and 0.2% (over 100%) of lithium chloride as a mineralizer. Tab. 2, ill. 3, bibliography: 3 titles.
From the standpoint of a synergistic approach, the possibility of producing ceramics based on strontium zirconate by combining synthesis and sintering in one stage is shown. Conditions are proposed that make it possible to obtain ceramics with a specific structure. Tab. 1, bibliography: 10 titles.
The effect of liquid glass with different silicate modulus on the properties of slips has been studied. It was found that with an increase in the silicate modulus, the efficiency of water glass as a diluting agent increases. It is shown that the complex electrolytes water glass - sodium tripolyphosphate and water glass - sodium polyacrylate are more effective than each of the electrolytes separately. The highest drying rate has a slip containing sodium polyacrylate, and the lowest - containing sodium tripolyphosphate. Il. 4, bibliography: 5 titles.
The composition of white underglaze engobe based on wastes (after the first firing) of porcelain and faience production for facing tiles with a dark ceramic base has been developed. The application of the engobe to the dried tiles allows for good sintering of the engobe with the tiles at higher temperatures of the first firing. This makes it possible to simplify the composition of the engobe, improve the quality indicators of both the tile itself and the glaze coating. Tab. 1, bibliography: 3 titles.
A mechanism for the formation of a permeable structure of ceramics based on a granular filler and a fine-grained sintered binder is proposed. It is noted that the finely dispersed component reduces the permeability of the structure. It is shown that it is impossible to obtain a permeable structure of a granular structure in the case of using a binder of reaction-sintered silicon nitride. A permeable ceramic was obtained from granular powders, which makes it possible to exclude a fine-grained component from the volume of permeable channel pores. Tab. 1, ill. 3, bibliography: 3 titles.
