The results of the study of the process of laser-chemical activation of the ceramic surface and its subsequent chemical metallization are presented. The results obtained served as the basis for the development of an industrial method for local metallization of the surface of products made of alumina ceramics. Il. 3, bibliography: 5 titles.
A composite material has been developed based on Al 2 O 3 , containing partially stabilized ZrO 2 as a strengthening component, and a eutectic of the CaO system as a sintering additive - ZnO - Al 2 O 3 - SiO 2 . The use of aluminum oxide obtained on the basis of aluminum hydroxide as a raw material makes it possible to synthesize a material with an average bending strength of 530 MPa at a firing temperature of 1550 ° C. Tab. 1, ill. 1, bibliography: 5 titles.
In order to use fine-fraction talcochlorites to improve the properties of ceramic products, their study was carried out as a thinning additive to clay in the mass of ceramic tiles. The use of talcum chlorite helps to increase the strength and reduce shrinkage of the tiles in comparison with the traditional composition with a minimum amount of components in the charge. Tab. 2, ill. 2, bibliography: 1 title.
The issues of expanding the range and increasing the volume of production of ceramic wall materials are considered. The physicochemical and technological properties of zeolite-containing clay raw materials have been studied. It is shown that with certain methods of prescription and technological nature, it is possible to produce ceramic wall materials that meet modern construction requirements in terms of strength, frost resistance, and colors. It is noted that the available reserves of zeolite-containing clay raw materials make it possible to significantly expand the raw material base for the production of coarse ceramics. Tab. 2, ill. 2, bibliography: 3 titles.
The possibility of making majolica products based on local raw materials from Tuva is shown. In this case, the heat treatment of the products was carried out at reduced pressure, which significantly intensifies sintering and improves the properties of the materials obtained. Tab. 2, bibliography: 4 titles.
The idea of ??obtaining ceramic composite materials with a high content of metal filler by the method of semi-dry pressing with subsequent drying and firing is proposed. The choice of a ceramic matrix and a metal filler has been substantiated. Bibliography: 2 titles.
The technological and operational reasons for the formation of efflorescence on the surface of the brickwork and the dynamics of their occurrence have been investigated. Preventive measures and possibilities for elimination of salt corrosion of masonry are indicated. Il. 2, bibliography: 5 titles.
The process of evacuation of the mass on vacuum presses and the ways of improving the production of porcelain insulators are considered. The calculation of the specific pressing pressure is given, the distribution of pressure along the length of the press and depending on the moisture content of the mass is shown. Il. 2, bibliography: 3 titles.
It is shown that from polymineral clays of the Republic of Tatarstan using methods that improve the quality of clay raw materials - mixing the mass with activated water, processing the raw material in an electric mass classifier, introducing technological additives into the raw material (mechanically activated quartz-glauconite sands or phosphorites, refractory clay) - it is possible to obtain by the method of semi-dry pressing with slip preparation of press powder of ceramic facing tiles for indoor and outdoor work, which meet the requirements of regulatory documents. Tab. 1, ill. 2, bibliography: 3 titles.
The possibility of preparing complex-profile thin-walled sorbents based on synthetic zeolites has been investigated. It is proposed to use natural aluminosilicates as a binder. Methods have been developed for controlling the properties of molding masses based on zeolites by introducing a plasticizer and an alkaline or acid modification of the binder structure. Tab. 3, ill. 3, bibliography: 7 titles.
