The effect of aluminum and cadmium oxides on glasses of an alkali-containing lead borosilicate system with a small amount of boron and lead has been studied. The influence of the ratio of aluminum and cadmium oxides on the color of the enamel, as well as on some physicochemical and technological parameters of the enamel is shown. It has been established that, on the basis of this system, it is possible to obtain a low-melting (780 - 800 ° C) corrosion-resistant blue enamel for copper and its alloys. Tab. 1, ill. 1, bibliography: 9 titles.
Defects of thin aluminum coatings on silicate glasses have been investigated by means of X-ray electron spectroscopy, secondary-ion mass spectrometry and optical microscopy. The reasons for the appearance of defects are considered. Tab. 1, ill. 1, bibliography: 2 titles.
The results of studies of the interaction of glass particles sprayed with a plasma torch with a glass substrate are presented. It is shown that the main factors that form the quality of the decorative coating on glass products are the parameters of the plasmatron operation and the temperature of the preheating of the substrate. Tab. 1, ill. 1, bibliography: 5 titles.
The influence of the physicochemical properties of glass-forming colloidal solutions (SCR) and technological parameters on the production of glass coatings for steel has been investigated. Optimal modes of SCR deposition and reflow of SCR deposition products synthesized on the basis of TEOS and nitrates of mono- and bivalent metals have been developed. Tab. 1, ill. 4, bibliography: 6 titles.
The effect of oxides of variable valence on the adhesion strength and elasticity of soilless fluorine-free coatings has been studied. The possibility of reducing the content of cobalt oxide in the composition of enamels due to the introduction of oxides of variable valence (NiO, CuO, MnO 2 ) in the optimal ratio without deteriorating the technological and operational properties of glass enamel coatings has been established. Tab. 1, ill. 2, bibliography: 5 titles.
A lead-free low-melting boron-aluminate glass matrix has been developed. Some of its properties have been studied: average cohesion index, TCLE, crystallization ability. On the basis of the synthesized glass matrix, colored enamels were obtained, which were used for decorating artistic copper products. Tab. 3, bibliography: 3 titles.
The conditions for the formation of conductive coatings based on a composition containing aluminum powder and barium-aluminum borate glass have been studied. It is shown that the additional introduction of chromium oxide makes it possible to obtain, after heat treatment at 660 - 750 ° C, coatings with a specific surface electrical resistance of 0.05 - 0.50 Ohm h cm on various enameled substrates. Il. 3, bibliography: 2 titles.
Silicate coatings have been synthesized on the basis of metallurgical production wastes for corrosion protection of high-alloy steel during heat treatment. The main properties of the coatings are given. Tab. 2, bibliography: 4 titles.
A titanium borosilicate system containing oxides of alkali metals, as well as oxides of lead, strontium, cadmium, chromium and cobalt, has been studied in order to obtain a low-melting enamel coating for aluminum. The influence of the polyalkali effect, as well as the ratio SiO 2 : TiO 2 , on the electrical conductivity and chemical resistance of glass has been investigated. It is shown that on the basis of this system it is possible to obtain a low-melting (firing temperature 540 - 560 ° C) corrosion-resistant enamel with high electrical resistance. Il. 1, bibliography: 3 titles.
The compositions and the principle of preparation of glass-forming colloidal solutions, resistant to gelation, based on tetraethoxysilane are presented. The processes occurring during the heating of the products of thermal deposition of solutions are considered. Using the mathematical planning of the experiment, the influence of oxides of molybdenum, manganese and copper on the adhesion strength between the coating and the substrate was established. The modes of formation and properties of protective glassy coatings are indicated. Il. 4, bibliography: 11 titles.
